• We believe what distinguishes a good pitcher from a great one is her ability to manage spin, spots, and speed, in that order. It’s her reaching her highest point of self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-control that puts her above the rest.

  • We believe pitching teaches habit formation. If a girl can learn to commit to something at a young age she’ll carry it with her long after softball ends.

  • We believe a pitcher learns best in a small group. It excites her. It’s fun, competitive, independent, and it brings the best out of a girl. Instructor feedback is staggered, not constant, giving each player time to think for herself.

  • We believe hard work is the key to success. However, hard work alone will not suffice. In order to build the neural pathways for proper mechanics, practice must be passionate and deliberate.

  • We believe every young pitcher should have a truthful, inspiring, knowledgeable, and caring pitching coach who pushes her to accomplish what she never thought possible.

  • We believe a great pitcher maintains an equal partnership with her parents. Since most pitching is done outside of lessons, the parent is, in many ways, the primary pitching coach. For the first few years, practice and lessons are done together. A true partnership is when a parent gets out her own catching glove and puts those shin guards on!

  • We believe pitching is a year-round four-season effort. Accuracy is based on “feel” which can diminish after only days. Consistency is built methodically.

  • We believe learning to pitch should be fun!
