You may be assigned any of the three choices. On December 19th, 2025 you will be emailed your class assignment and information about what to expect. Pitchers are grouped based on age and experience level

Format:
75-Minute Small-Group Lessons - Why Small Group?

Classes are once per week for 10 weeks.
3:1 Student to Teacher Ratio
6 Pitchers Per Class Max
2 Instructors Per Class

Program
Practice Pro is designed to be a year-round program for players who want to reach their potential. In September you have the chance to register for the offseason (October - December)  and preseason (January - March) together at a discount. There is also another enrollment period at the end of the year in December for the preseason program.

The pre-season session, January - March, is based on a ten-lesson program taken over three months. The preseason is the time to assemble the fundamentals and motion pitches you’ve learned in the offseason and  build up your strengths.  Beginner-level pitchers who start months before their 2026 season will have a chance to develop a solid foundation with accuracy and speed, then step on the mound with confidence come April. Beginner-level pitchers who start well before their 2026 season will be at a huge advantage having the chance to develop a solid foundation with accuracy and speed, then will step on the mound with confidence come April.

Participants:
From true beginners (no experience pitching) through college-bound athletes, girls are grouped based on age, ability level, and experience with Practice Pro.

Parent Involvement:
The most successful pitchers have supportive parents. We ask parents to join their daughters in each class to catch and learn. If you are unable to physically catch a sibling or team catcher will do, but we suggest learning all of the mechanics alongside her.

Instructors:
Abby Hanrahan, Emily Tucci, and Katie Griggs will be the lead instructors. Various instructors will be the assistants for other classes. Occasionally, lead instructors will sub for one another. All instructors for each day are listed in your scheduling app (Wodify).

Rescheduling:
Our lessons are designed for you to attend every lesson. However, we understand that you might have to miss one. If you miss a class you may try to sub into another class, pending another person cancelling. At the beginning of a session, all classes are booked full with 6 players each.  You can do this on our scheduling app. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and must take place within your current session. You may not roll over any classes to any other class, lesson or camp.  This includes missing the last class.

CoachNow
Our new app that will help you record and share lesson videos, images, text, audio, and files of any type directly in session or anytime you like. Remember what you learned and get recaps of class. Plus much, much more!

Level System
Do you want to know what it will take to play at a higher level? Each player will now be challenged to pass one of 5 levels in order to participate in certain classes. You now have something measurable and exciting to aim for!

Online Scoring
Our team scoreboard is virtual this session! Now you can check how your team is doing from your phone or computer any time.

FAQ

How are the winter sessions different from the inseason/summer programs?
The winter sessions are programs on a progression. The lessons are taken at the same time each day of the week for  10 consecutive weeks. The inseason/summer programs take into consideration playing schedules, rest, and needed “tweaks” and “adjustments” during your season. These are only 8 weeks long and can be taken every week or every other week.

Can I have a private lesson?

Only in August & September when pitching school is not in session.

Can I make up one of my pitching lessons in a hitting class?
No, our lessons are meant to be taken in order with the same players for 10 weeks, so we do not allow switching between programs.

What do I get for signing up?
10, 75 minute pitching lessons with expert former-player coaches. Players will learn commitment, mental game skills, and accomplish quantitative and qualitative improvements.

Do I have to sign up for all my classes right when I sign up?
You will get your class assignment and access to our scheduling app before you begin the first day.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Our lessons are designed for you to attend every lesson. However, we understand that you might have to miss one. If you miss a class you may try to sub into another class, pending another person cancelling.
